The timeline for starting a project varies based on its complexity and the preparation required. Permitted jobs generally take longer due to additional inspection phases. Before we finalize any contract, we’ll provide a preliminary Gantt Chart with our best estimate of the timeframe.
What should I remodel first: painting, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, or outside?
If your budget allows, begin with the kitchen or bathrooms, as these updates offer the most value. Next, tackle the floors, and finish with painting to give everything a fresh look.

Are you insured?
Yes, we carry liability insurance and work with licensed trade contractors as needed.
Does my job need a permit?
In Austin, generally, if your project involves major electrical, plumbing, or structural changes, we will likely need a permit. Permit requirements do vary if you are in the city of Austin or the surrounding areas. We will help you identify if you need a permit before construction begins.
Is there a preferred time of year to start a home addition project?
There isn’t a specific season to avoid, though weather can impact certain aspects. Frozen ground or extremely cold temperatures can affect site work. Heavy winter rain may interfere with painting.
What times will your team be working at my house during construction?
Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Depending on your specific needs, we can adjust the schedule to work for you.
We can accommodate weekend work on a case-by-case basis, though we do value our family time and treat our employees like family.
What about Change Orders? I don’t want to be nickel and dimed.
We view each project as a partnership and have detailed discussions about the scope of work. If something is outlined in the scope, it’s covered. If not, it will be considered a change order. We won’t charge for anything not agreed upon and we do not do work that you don't approve of first.
